Man charged with Chalvey burglaries


A SLOUGH man has been charged with a series of burglaries in Chalvey.

Jonathan Jack, 32, of Burlington Avenue, Slough, was arrested on Sunday and charged on Monday in connection with five offences and two breaches of bail.

The charges relate to three burglaries in The Crescent, Slough, on January 7 and 11, one count of attempted burglary in the same road on January 7, and one count of burglary in connection with an incident in Martin Road, Slough, on January 11.

He appeared at Slough Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday and was remanded in custody.

He is due to appear at Reading Crown Court on May 12.
