DOZENS of suspected kerb crawlers have been arrested in Chalvey as part of a crackdown on street prostitution.
The 36 men, aged from 22-52, were arrested between February 21 and 24 on suspicion of soliciting a person in a street or public place for the purpose of obtaining sexual services from them as a prostitute.
Of those arrested, 25 are from Slough, three are from Maidenhead and one is from Windsor.
Supt Richard Humphrey, Local Police Commander for Slough, said: "Men who choose to visit the area of Chalvey with a view to seek out prostitution need to know that they will be caught by police, as we continue to robustly tackle the problem with our partner agencies. My message is clear - their actions are not acceptable."
