Serious injury collision - Slough

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses to a collision that occurred in Slough on Friday (20/11).

At around 7.10am, a white Vauxhall Movano van and a silver Triumph motorbike collided at the roundabout of Tuns Lane and Cippenham Lane, near the Copthorne hotel.

The motorcyclist, a 40-year-old man, was taken to Wexham Park hospital with serious injuries.

PC Nicholas Brown, who is investigating the collision, said: "I would like to hear from anyone that may have seen either vehicle prior to the collision or who witnessed the collision itself."

Burglary incidents around the town:

Patricia Close,Cippenham where over the weekend a home was entered via a ground floor window and tv was taken.

22/11 Lower Cippenham Lane where between 7.45-8.05pm entry gained by forcing patio doors.Not known what was taken - a number of people were seen running away from scene.

22/11 Marlborough Rd,Langley where patio doors forced to gain entry and high value jewellery taken.

22/11 Meadfield Rd,Langley where between 3-10am entry possibly gained by someone reaching in thro letterbox and pulling door handle down - laptop,phone,wallet and cash taken.

22/11 Bruce Close,Cippenham where overnight entry gained by forcing side door and wallet & keys taken which resulted in theft of occupants vehicle.

22/11 Two Mile Drive,Cippenham where overnight entry gained via insecure kitchen window and handbag,wallet and mobile phone taken.

21/11 Peel Court,Farnham where between 8-10.30pm entry gained by forcing rear patio doors.

21/11 Raven Field,Langley where between 2.30-7.15pm rear door was forced to gain entry and jewellery & cash was taken.

Again as previously requested please call the police if you witness any suspicious activity in your neighbourhood such as youths peering into parked cars or trying the handles -they are usually seen on bikes.Your call is important to us and the number again is 0845 8 505 505.

Finally I've been asked to bring to your attention a message from Slough Age Concern which hopefully you can pass onto to any over 60's in your neighbourhood.
