Message from Slough police station,Thursday 26 November which includes two TVP press releases that were sent out this week with regards local incidents:


Tuesday 24 November 2009.

Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after a suspicious fire at a house in Slough.

At about 3.30pm on Friday 13 November, emergency services were called to a fire at a semi-detached house in Canterbury Avenue, Manor Park. The occupants of the property were out at the time and no-one was injured, although the fire caused extensive damage to the ground floor. Police are treating the fire as arson.

Det Con William Tippetts, investigating officer, said: "I would like to hear from anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area at the time, particularly anyone who was in or near the Cinder Track that runs parallel with Canterbury Avenue at around 3.15pm to 3.30pm on 13 November, and who may have seen three youths together in the vicinity.

"One of the youths was wearing a two-tone coloured coat and another appeared to walk with a limp."
